How do I return an item?

Returns

Do not return items without notifying us first.
If you want to return an item notify us via e-mail or phone within 20 days of the date we shipped your order. When we determine your order is returnable, we will issue you a return authorization number to include with your return shipping.  The return address label must include the return authorization number and the merchandise must be received here within 10 business days of issuing the return authorization.  DO NOT write on the return box.  The return authorization is included in the shipping label and that is all we need here.   Issuance of a return authorization number is not a guarantee of refund. Items arriving here without return authorization will force us to refuse the shipment and be returned at customer's expense.

SALES FINAL on all windscreens, soft luggage and clearance items. No returns, exchanges, or refunds for these items. Shipping charges for exchanges are charged at our actual cost plus appropriate insurance.

Refunds

For merchandise returned to us in new condition and ready for re-sell, you will receive a refund (excluding shipping) less a 5% restocking fee and any shipping expense you did not pay for. This fee has become necessary to cover ever increasing processing and handling costs. All refunds are pending inspection of the item here at RL Motorcycles & Aviation, LLC.

NOTE: Any item shipped from RL Motorcycles & Aviation, LLC can be exchanged for a different item with no fee for the exchange**.  You pay the shipping charges both ways and any difference in item price, if any. You will also pay our actual ground shipping cost plus appropriate insurance.
We will process your exchange as quickly as possible.

We offer refunds and/or exchanges only if the item being returned is in new factory condition and ready to put on the shelf for retail sale. This will include all packaging, seals, papers, instructions, stickers, etc.
We do not ship merchandise to be tried out or otherwise used in any way. To avoid problems or fees, it is best to decide if you want the item you ordered promptly. 
If the item you want to return is marked in any way, was mounted to the motorcycle or aircraft, seal is broken, or does not include the original papers and packaging, please do not attempt to send it back. If you return an item and we find it is not in factory fresh condition you will be charged a 10%-25% restocking fee depending on condition of the item. Sorry, no exceptions on this matter.

Be reasonable and honest with us and we will always treat you the same in return. We value each and every customer and we strive to be more than fair, but keep in mind we must re-sell what you return. All refunds are processed promptly and credit is issued by company check or credit to your credit card account.

Warranties

RL Motorcycles & Aviation, LLC does not manufacture or warranty any of the products we sell. All warranty claims must be made to the manufacturer. However, we will be happy to assist you in any way we can to expedite your repair or replacement with the manufacturer. Simply call us or email and tell us the problem and we will go from there.
